The unicare health insurance company is very poorly run. customer service is BAD. they are not instructing callers on what is the actual coverage's. also you have to call several times to get an explanation of benefits sent out.
if there is an appeal made when they refuse to cover a typical screening like a mammogram they will refuse to pay and not follow their own appeals process .
I am suing them now because of the handbook sent to me is saying yearly exams and screenings are covered but they refuse to pay for mammograms. hand book say mammograms covered 100 !
checking out how others with this health care feel I just saw 87 do not recommend or are satisfied .
