dI am disabled & on medicaid until May 1st because I make $23 too much and have to find supplemental insurance in order to be able to get help from them again. I can not believe that in this era that a person that gets $1000 +/-, pays rent of $400+/- along with all the rest of the normal utilities, food, fuel and etc. and we can not qualify for any assistance. My choice now is to either pay $731. per month for my doctor bills and they pick up anything after that Or I can spend $220+/- on supplemental insurance to get their help. I cant hardly afford to live the way it is right now let alone pay another $220 or $731 for medical. I will be selling every single personl thing that I own in order to pay for the supplemental insurance, IF I can even get some due to my health issues. What is this world coming to when a lagitiamate person can not get help?
