I am 83 years old and have had one accident for which I was responsible in all my years of driving. I have not had any accident in over five years and rarely drive out of the area in which I live. When I inquire about better rates I am shuttled off to limbo or transferred to site selling FUNERAL insurance. This is horrendous and I resent it. Is there no way older people with safe driving records can receive a fair deal? It is becoming most difficult to afford a decent policy on a limited income. Surely I am not the only person who feels this is unjust.
