I tried desparately to reduce my premiums by changing my coverage to a different plan with the same company. I had to apply again, and even though they DON'T COVER ANYTHING having to do with hearing loss, they refused to allow me to switch because I visited a hearing clinic in a FREE evaluation for a new aid just developed I put that visit on my application form, trying to be honest. The clinic told me that it wouldn't work for me anyway...so no costs involved. How can one be denied coverage for a condition that the insurance doesn't even cover at all?
