Medical coverage with former employers

For many years, from 1991-2003, I always had health insurance with all of my jobs. But I never used them, at all. I never claimed anything from any one. I really don't like doctors or hospitals. I only became ill in 2006 and had to be hospitalized and have surgery. I have never returned, nor do I plan to. Perhaps I am not a good candidate, but if I ever had to, I doubt I would.
