I've had insurance since I was able to carry insurance for myself. I was referred to a speciality clinic from my PCP after he did several test himself and couldn't figure out the problem after having a hysterectomy for left abdominal pain. Had numerous test performed by a nationally known medical clinic and nothing was found to be wrong. Now I am stuck paying the bill because UHC refused to pay due to the facility being out of network but being in the mileage limits of provider who can provide services if another is not available.

** MOST IMPORTANT, I'VE BEEN TURNED DOWN FOR HEALTH INSURANCE SINCE I HAVE BEEN MARRIED ON A FAMILY PLAN WITH MY HUSBAND BY TWO COMPANIES, CIGNA AND BLUE CROSS DUE TO ONE MEDICATION I TAKE FOR HEADACHES BECAUSE OF THE COST OF THE MEDICATION. NOW I'M STUCK PAYING HIGHER PREMIUMS WITH COBRA!
