I was on Kaiser for many years. I could always walk into urgent care and see a doctor, but I rarely saw my own doctor. Sometimes I would make an appointment and when I went in, there was a substitute! My regular Doctor never returned my calls, and I missed having personal care. Finally, one day I was in a traffic accident and was very disappointed with my care. They were very concerned with my broken arm, but ignored my smashed legs. I told every I came in contact with, but no one helped me. I looked this up and found out I had compact syndrome later, which could have been helped with simple ice. I kept asking for Ice at the time, but they would only give me about a half cup. So I wrote a letter complaining and announcing that I was quitting Kaiser. Their reply was to send me a bill!?
